Help Carleton Hart Get Books To Kids & Change Lives

Carleton Hart Architecture is celebrating their 25 year anniversary (Congratulations!) with a Children’s Book Bank Drive. It is such a kind act on their part that we had to share it. The book drive is going on now through the end of December. The Children’s Book Bank has collected and distributed books to over 78,000 children in need since 2008, and Carleton Hart is hoping to do their part in collecting books for future young people, but they need your help.

The Children’s Book Bank

Since 2008, The Children’s Book Bank has filled homes and lives of 78,100 children with 869,900 books! Learn more at

The Children’s Book Bank seeks gently used or new books appropriate for babies, toddlers, and early elementary students through grade three. Culturally relevant and Spanish books are greatly needed.

Children’s Book Bank loves books with diverse representation, so that every child can have the affirming and validating experience of seeing themselves reflected in the stories they read.

Here’s a list of recommended titles.

Please NOTE: Please no musty or damaged books, magazines, coloring books, encyclopedias, textbooks, ex-school library books, school sets, books for high school students and adults.

CHA Staff are excited for our volunteer day in January when we will visit The Children’s Book Bank to clean and prepare donated books!
