Precision Images is a leading producer of architectural printing, display graphics and signage based in Portland, Oregon.  We are currently seeking a conscientious craftsperson to work in our graphical finishing department.  This is a full-time position with hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

In this role, you will be a part of an experienced team that performs a wide variety of finishing processes to produce signs, displays, murals, and other graphic components. You must be able to work independently as well as with other production members to facilitate the production of both small and large-scale projects, involving a multitude of materials and elements, within tight deadlines. Must be creative, quality-conscious, and detail-oriented worker with strong communication skills. Leadership skills are a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of large format finishing work, including trimming, assembly, setting up and operating laminators, vinyl cutter, CNC router and other processes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
• Analyze complex work tickets and all other pertinent documents in detail to determine how to best execute each project
• Follow all quality control and production protocols to ensure that all graphics are produced within spec and meet our stringent quality standards
• Communicate detailed status of all projects and any other pertinent information with 100% accuracy to production management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked working area
• Assist in other production departments as directed by production managers

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with large format finishing work preferred – trimming, 1st and 2nd surface mounting, laminating, weeding, CNC Routing etc
• Attention to detail
• Success-driven team player, with the ability to work autonomously

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and independently making effective decisions in a fast-paced, extremely deadline-driven environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines that are in various stages of development or production
• Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Desire to grow your skill-set and take on more responsibility
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications
